WELCOME!

HELLO to all of you interested in joining or learning more about Pioneer Theatre Guild!! Theatre Guild is a wonderful organization run mainly by students who love theater and everything that goes along with it. Members of Theatre Guild act, sing, dance, paint and build sets, operate lighting and sound equipment, design programs, sell tickets, design, make costumes, publicize shows, act, do hair and makeup design, write, direct and much more! So if you’re interested in any of the above, please contact a member of the Student Executive Board (see below). Everyone is welcome to participate, whether you’ve had a lot of theater experience or none at all! In Theatre Guild we work really hard to put on great performances and we have a whole lot of fun doing it.

Often times, when we ask someone why they won't join theatre, they usually say it's because they can't act, or they have stage fright, or something along those lines. Well not to fear my friends. As with most things in the world, there is constant work going on behind the scenes. If acting isn't your bag, check out our CREWS!

Overall, Theatre Guild is a great place for all students to learn and grow in all aspects of theater. Please browse this website to find out more about Theatre Guild!

Becoming a Member

An easy way to meet people from Theatre Guild and find out information about us is to go to our "Monday Meetings", which we hold almost every Monday in the theater at 3:45pm. These short meetings are a time when the leaders of Theatre Guild (see below!) give the most up-to-date announcements and help new people learn their way around. So, if you're at all interested in being a part of Theatre Guild, please come and check us out!

To be a member of Theatre Guild you MUST fill out and turn in a membership form. You can pick up a membership form from one of the Theatre Guild officers at a Monday Meeting, or you can click here and print the form. You also must turn in an Academic Eligibility Form and an Emergency Card, all of which are available at any Monday Meeting.

You also must have read the following:

Membership Expectations (almost everything you need to know about being involved in Theatre Guild!)

ADS: A significant portion of Theatre Guild's funding is provided by selling ads to businesses around town that appear in our programs (other funding comes from ticket sales, the school district, donations, and other fundraising). As a Theatre Guild member, we ask that you help us to sell these ads by selling a minimum of $100 in ads per year. For more specific info about selling ads and for tips, click here!

SHOWS: Theatre Guild is proud to put on 5 shows per year: 2 musicals, a traveling competition play, a singing and dancing competition, and an entirely student written and run show. For more information on our current season, please click here!
